We are currently B.Y.O.B. - Bring Your Own Bicycle
We are seeking out a partner in Greece to accommodate this aspect of the business, but as of yet have not found a reliable solution.
Our hope is to have our own fleet of rental bikes in the near future.

We keep our groups small—just 4 to 8 riders—so your experience stays big. Fewer wheels on the road means deeper local immersion, tailored support, and a journey crafted specifically around you.

Yes — it's required for every Kefi Collective trip.
Regular health insurance won't cover you here. It doesn't touch trip cancellations, delays, lost luggage, or emergency medical evacuation — and on remote mountain roads, evacuation coverage matters. Look for a policy that also protects your gear, including your bike, against loss, damage, or theft.
Buy your policy as soon as you pay your deposit — that's what protects you if you need to cancel before the trip starts. You'll also need to sign a risk waiver and complete a medical questionnaire before departure.
Providers riders have used: Tin Leg, AXA, Travel Guard, Cover-More, and Allianz.

Our routes are built on mountainous terrain — every trip averages at least 1,000 vertical feet per 10 miles, with some days hitting gradients of 18-19%. Fitness is subjective, but these trips are designed to be hard, yet doable by cyclists who train regularly. If you're riding 8-10 hours a week, love to climb, and want roads less traveled, this is for you.
To get ready: ride as often as you can in the six months before departure, prioritizing climbs. Fill in the gaps with indoor training — Zwift or Rouvy are good for building comfort on climbs over an hour. Once you're confirmed, we'll send our training guide to help you prepare.
Full vehicle support is always there if you need it, but is not a replacement for proper training.

Kefi Collective trips include time both on and off the bike — pack for both.
On the bike: A few breathable jerseys and matching bibs, a helmet, gloves, and enough socks to stay comfortable between laundry days. In fall, add lightweight layers — arm and leg warmers, a wind vest or jacket for descents — since mountain weather shifts fast. The support van can always stow what you're not wearing.
Off the bike: Comfortable, breathable clothes for exploring the villages and sitting down to dinner.
