What is Kefi Collective?
Kefi Collective was born from Sylvia Poulos and Lee Redfern’s journeys through Greece's mountains and back roads — the ones you'll never see from a tour bus window. Somewhere between a hairpin climb and a family-run taverna, they realized the real Greece isn't simply seen — it's ridden into, one small road at a time.
That realization became Kefi Collective: a small team with a shared love for the roads less traveled, and the experience to turn that love into thoughtfully planned, seamlessly run journeys. We connect riders to the Peloponnese's living heritage, its hidden routes, and its unmistakable hospitality — delivering trips that are as exhilarating as they are genuinely enriching.
Ride with us, and see Greece beyond the postcards.
Meet the Team
Lee Redfern
Founder, Lead Guide
Lee has been riding and racing — road, cyclocross, mountain bikes — since he was a kid. He's a master bicycle mechanic with more than 45 years of wrenching and riding behind him, and even during the stretches when racing took a back seat, cycling never really left his life.
What sets Lee apart is an eye for the roads nobody else finds — hidden climbs, forgotten backroads, the corners of the countryside that don't show up on any map. His first trip to Greece started on the legendary hairpins of Kolosourti, and one ride turned into daily exploration, then years of scouting. That obsession with discovery — countless hours in the saddle, chasing down routes most riders would never stumble onto — is what shapes every trip Kefi Collective runs today.
Sylvia Poulos
Founder, Guide (Sweep Marshall)
Sylvia is fluent in Greek and has spent much of her life visiting family and exploring the Peloponnesian villages where her parents grew up. For her, the places we ride aren't just destinations — they're home, and she looks forward to welcoming you to them the way she'd welcome anyone into her own family's village.
She brings a background in physiology and nutrition to every trip, shaping the details that make a ride actually work: fueling, hydration, recovery, thoughtful route design. Sylvia came to cycling as an adult, and that's given her a lasting appreciation for what it feels like to be new — to a group, a destination, a sport. It's why she's built Kefi Collective's trips to feel genuinely welcoming to riders of every background and experience level.
Bradley Wallace
Medical Director, Guide
Bradley is an emergency medicine physician at one of the busiest Level I Trauma Centers in the US, with additional training in wilderness medicine. We hope his expertise never needs to come into play on a trip — but having it there adds a real layer of preparedness and peace of mind for every rider.
Outside of medicine, Bradley is an avid backpacker, cyclist, and rock climber, drawn to rugged terrain and remote places. That same appreciation for wild landscapes and the pull of exploration is woven into the spirit of every Kefi Collective journey.
