What to bring.
-
We suggest 4-5 jerseys. Lightweight, full zip jerseys that can be unzipped for extra cooling. In fall, we suggest 3 short sleeve and 2 lightweight, long sleeve jerseys, if you prefer. Laundry can be done on “Rest Day”.
-
As with the jerseys, bring as many bibs as you do jerseys. In fall, a pair of lightweight tights may be preferred.
-
We bring two pair, just in case of rain or malfunction, but that’s your call.
-
In the fall, perfect for layering just in case. The support vehicle can always stow away any unneeded items in your “Go Bag”.
-
No helmet, No ride. Obviously, but if it’s white, even better for heat dissipation.
-
Though you may not need it, at the peaks of climbs or on rainy days, it could be a lifesaver when it comes to descents. Our support vehicle will always stow away your unneeded gear, kept safe in your “Go Bag”.
-
We suggest two pair as well. Squishy gloves are gross. In fall, a lightweight, insulated pair of full finger gloves are great for a chilly descent.
-
Please bring at least 5-6 pair, so you can be comfy. Again, arid country, laundry, let’s try and conserve resources. In fall, wool socks might be preferable.
-
If you like a base layer, bring a few. A buff/neck gaiter in Fall might be a nice addition to your “Go Bag”.
-
If you like ‘em, bring ‘em…it’s pretty sunny in Greece.
On the Bike:
-
A great pair of comfy, broken in walking/running shoes. No new shoes.
-
A few of each for the week. Long sleeve shirts for the morning/evening, as it can get a little chilly sometimes.
-
Shorts for daily wear plus a pair of pants for chilly evenings or dinner.
-
Perfect for those chilly mornings or evenings, outside, eating dinner or having a coffee.
-
Seasonal pool might be a bit chilly, but you never know. Plus, a day toward the sea is possible.
